Baja's Mezcal Experience
We discovered Tahona Baja by chance on one of our trips to Valle de Guadalupe. Barbara was at Adobe Guadalupe buying Mezcal when we met her. She told us about this great Mezcal bar and restaurant that she hosts a Mezcal experience. We really didn't know if could make with our packed schedule of Ensenada and Valle de Guadalupe.
Our last day in Ensenada we left a few free hours just in case. So we looked up Barbara and headed over to Tahona Baja!
Tahona Baja serves up a premier Mezcal tasting experience on two 80 year old shrimp boats in the middle of a vineyard. Plus they are a full service restaurant.
The menu features Baja classics like the famed Ensanada fish taco & the Tijuana born Caesar salad as well as an Oaxacan touch with our Mole flight and our four Mole duck tasting plate.
The selection of fresh seafood, gourmet tacos and our other revisited classics will transport you throughout several Mexican regions. It is the perfect complement to our incredible selection of artisanal produced Mezcales.
