Take your time to enjoy the meal and the morning tranquility, perhaps wandering through the vineyards or visiting Mrs. Miller’s prized horses.
- Morning: Wine Tasting at Bodegas Henri Lurton
- Our first tasting of the day takes us to Bodegas Henri Lurton, where you’ll meet the renowned French brothers who set their winemaking roots here in 2017. Originating from Margaux, France, the Lurton brothers are crafting some of the valley's most refined wines. We’ll enjoy a unique tasting in their warehouse, a raw and authentic setting that highlights the rustic charm of the valley.
- Midday: Local Cheese and Wine at Clos Benoit
- Next, we'll visit Ben Benoit at his quaint Clos Benoit, nestled just a short stroll away. Here, in his front lawn under the shade of native trees, Ben shares his passion for wine through tastings of his limited production—only three wines, each from different vintages. This intimate setting offers a personal glimpse into the life and craft of a small-scale winemaker.
- Afternoon: Tasting under the Oak Tree at Casa Magoni
- Cross the street to Casa Magoni, where you’ll meet Camilo Magoni, often referred to as the godfather of Valle de Guadalupe’s wine scene. Camilo and his daughters will host us for a relaxed afternoon under an old oak tree, where we’ll taste their wines and hear stories of the valley’s wine evolution. You’ll also get a peek into Camilo’s personal projects, including his balsamic vinegar and olive oil production.

- Midday: El Pan Meyor Bakery
- After soaking in the vineyard views, our trusted driver, Toni, will take us towards Tecate, stopping at El Pan Meyor, widely celebrated as Mexico’s best bakery. Prepare to be enchanted by the array of fresh baked goods in this unique bakery that feels more like a treasure trove of culinary delights. It’s the perfect spot to pick up some edible souvenirs that capture the essence of Mexican baking.
- Afternoon: Scenic Departure Through Tecate
